The first gardens sponsored by the BVC Community Food Garden program have been planted! Volunteers from Community Bank of Bergen County, the Volunteer Center, BD, and United Water installed gardens at the Hackensack Boys and Girls Club, the Garfield Boys and Girls Club, and Zoe's Place. Volunteers at Classic Residence in Teaneck also planted a garden at their facility. The produce from the gardens will benefit low-income families in our community. Happy growing! |
